California voters have a cherished and important right of recall against politicians that harm them or violate public trust. Reform California created CityCouncilRecall.org to help local communities plan, organize, manage, and fund recalls against bad city councilmembers. First up is Carlsbad City Councilmember Cori Schumacher who literally represents everything that’s bad in local politics.

Reform California is the sponsor of CityCouncilRecall.org. Founded in 2003, Reform California is a 527 political action committee that is dedicated to holding state and local government accountable through citizens initiatives, ballot measure campaigns, and recalls. In 2017, Reform California led the successful Recall against State Senator Josh Newman (D) who cast the deciding vote in approving the costly and unfair car and gas tax hikes - and is currently supporting the Recall against Governor Gavin Newsom.
